Portuguese Language Books

Here are some suggestions for books to help you learn Portuguese.

Note: Although it is essentially the same language, of course, Brazilian Portuguese is different from the European variety - probably about as different as American English is from British English. If you are more interested in one country than the other, it makes sense to focus on the language spoken there.
