French Language Training
for Private Clients (if you are
a corporate client, please click here)
Note:
Our French language programmes are very flexible and designed
to give you exactly what you need. Below we have described
two almost separate courses but if you would like a mixture
- or something different - please contact us and we will put
together a programme to suit you.
- General
French
- Business French
General
French
We provide expert training in
French language at all levels, from
beginner to advanced.
Almost all our French
courses are one-to-one because we usually find this is the
most effective and efficient way. We don't run open group
courses but if you would like to share your lessons with a
friend or partner, this can be successful.
We tailor the training to suit
the requirements and interests of each client. This means
it moves at your speed, uses examples and materials of interest
and relevance to you, and can focus more on speaking/listening
or on writing/reading, depending what you want.
We will teach you the grammar
you need to make the language work for you and the functional
French of everyday life - for example:
shopping, travelling, socialising, dealing with problems,
telephoning. We can also include any aspects of business or
other types of language that would be useful to you.
While we believe that grammar
is important, the emphasis is always on communication and
confidence-building.
The timetable is flexible and
your course may be intensive, extensive or a mixture - whatever
suits you.

Business French
We provide expert training
in business French, on a one-to-one basis.
The course is tailor-made
to meet your specific requirements. Whether you are looking
for a job in France or Belgium or just want to expand your
options, we focus the programme on the areas that are of interest
and use to you.
For example, you may want
to work towards being able to do the following in French:
- compile a CV and covering letter
- succeed in a job interview
- discuss business on the telephone
- negotiate with suppliers or clients
- write business letters, e-mails and reports
- make clear and successful presentations
- socialise with clients.
Before you start learning business
language, we assume you will already have at least an intermediate
general knowledge of French but
we can include in a business-language course any elements
of grammar that you particularly need or that are causing
you problems.
The timetable is flexible and your course may
be intensive, extensive or a mixture - whatever suits you.
